It’s a pleasure to meet you!
I grew up in the most quintessential city in the world, New York City. The Big Apple of the 1980s became my playground—where I was a witness to, and a participant in, the city's cultural movements in the highest form; art, music, dance, fashion, and design, to name a few. This vast culturally-rich landscape granted me invaluable insight into social interaction and visual messaging.
I earned degrees in art, advertising, and visual communication design from New York City College of Technology—CUNY and Herron School of Art and Design—Indiana University. I began my design profession as a freelancer for creative studios and agencies, working on projects for print, advertising, branding, environmental graphics, exhibit design, and online.
From 2022 to 2024, I served as Director of Graphic Design at the Indiana Historical Society, during which I led the design and marketing campaigns for events, educational programming, membership and development, exhibits, retail, and publications and books (for IHS Press).
During my years of experience, I have also organized and curated art exhibitions featuring international artists and co-founded and published an art publication.
Outside of design, I enjoy quiet time meditating, drinking tea, reading global publications, walking the city, visiting galleries and museums, making fine art, traveling, cooking, and listening to and creating music. It is all these things that inform my creative output.
